I was having a lot of trouble thinking of what to search for in Google to find the answer to this, but apparently you explained in simple enough terms that I was able to find it, even when I wasn't sure exactly what to look for. I am designing a theme and would like to call to images in the theme directory from posts and pages so when someone uses the pre-made theme, they can just copy and paste some pre-made pages I have that come with the theme.
