We use WordPress a lot over here- not only for our own blog, but also our clients. Consequently, a lot of our developers, including myself, are becoming more and more familiar with the WordPress environment.
In my opinion, WordPress is by far the best blogging platform available because it’s easy to use, works great, and has a wide range of support and plugins available. There is probably a plugin for pretty much anything you may ever want to do- the hardest part is tracking it down.
This blog post is an open forum for anyone that has any technical questions about WordPress. Is there something that you’re trying to do, but can’t? I’m not talking about visual questions e.g. how do I move my navigation bar? I’m talking about “technical” questions, e.g. how do I allow people to leave comments on my “about me” page?
If I or anyone else in the team can answer the question, we’ll do so. If not, we’ll gracefully pass.

Hey man, I just stumbled across your “fresh editorial” template and I love it! However, I’m having some problems with it and am not quite sure what’s going on. I uploaded it under themes in my wp content folder on my ftp and this message is coming up:Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_title_attribute() in /home/thel/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/fresh-editorial/single.php on line 18….?? You’re using an old version of WordPress. If you upload the latest version, you won’t have that problem anymore.

Ok, so thatnks for the last advice it was right on, but here is my next question; i’m having trouble getting the rss feed icon to show up. Also, have any advice on making the column wider to allow for posting larger images? thanks again.

Try downloading the latest version of the theme (1.10) from here.
All you’ll need to do is upload the “sidebar.php” file, and hopefully it should fix the problem.

I’ve got a question for you guys. I’m always looking for a way to list the child pages of a particular parent. Say I know the page’s id and I just want to list it’s children. What do you put in the to do this?
